An all inclusive curriculum
At ASOM, we offer a wide spectrum of modalities. While we focus heavily on clinical massage we offer classes with Eastern philosophies as well as spa-based techniques. Our program is long enough in length to create a foundation for a strong theoretical background as well as an enhanced application of professional massage skills.
Small classes
Our classes tend to be small in order for our teachers to be able to focus on the individual needs of each student. Our classes consist of no more than 16 students per term and no more than 8 students per class. This way each student feels heard and no one falls behind.
Experienced teachers
Our staff consists of experienced massage teachers that each have their own practice or have had a practice for several years. We keep up with the ever changing field of massage as well as education and adult learning. While massage therapists have to keep up with continuing education our teachers keep up to date with the latest in the massage field.
Career assistance
We work with each student to help them figure out their path. We offer help with constructing resumes and refining interviewing skills. On our Facebook page we regularly post job opportunities in the area. If a student wishes to go into business for themselves, we have a step by step guide that is taught in our business portion. Our teachers are available for any questions a student might have even after they graduate.
It doesn't stop after you graduate
We offer continuing education for our graduates to help maintain the required continuing hours for a massage therapy license as well as help graduated students continue to grow as exceptional therapists.
